As a former professional dancer, Jennifer Nelson is interested in altering or exaggerating social choreographies. In Process/Ecstatic Motion, she crawled from nine to five up San Francisco’s Market Street in a business suit. Attempted Symmetry in an Asymmetrical World was a recent month-long performance in which she attempted to navigate through daily life according to rules of symmetry.
