Brazil

Juru is an artist-researcher and director working across performance, dance, film, and queer scene studies. They hold a PhD in Arts from UERJ, co-directed the award-winning 2024 ballroom documentary, This Is Ballroom, and wrote the dramaturgy for the performance Repertório N. 1, by Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira.
